MATCHA CREAM
PANCAKES

SERVES: 2-4

Serving

INGREDIENTS 

  • 100ml pure cream

  • 1Tbsp maple syrup

  • 1-2Tbsp matcha powder

  • 200g Casalare ‘Yourself’ Raising Flour

  • 1Tbsp sugar

  • a pinch of salt

  • 200ml any milk

  • 1 egg

  • 1Tbsp oil

  • 1Tbsp butter

DIRECTIONS 

  1. In a large bowl, add pure cream, maple syrup and matcha powder and beat until firm.
     

  2.  In another bowl, add flour, sugar, salt, milk, egg and oil and mix well.
     

  3. Heat a large pan over medium heat.
     

  4. Add butter and swirl to melt. Pour ¼C batter into the middle of the pan for each pancake.
     

  5. When bubbles rise to the surface, flip and cook the other side until golden.
     

  6. To serve, stack up the pancakes and a dollop of whipped matcha cream, a dusting of matcha powder and fresh strawberry. Enjoy!
