Our story
Back in the ’80s, a husband-and-wife team set out to open a fresh pasta shop in regional Victoria. When a customer with coeliac disease brought in gluten-free pasta, they cooked it, tried it, and found it seriously disappointing—so they decided to make a gluten-free pasta that tasted like the real thing.
Today, Casalare crafts premium Australian organic and gluten-free pasta and flours using time-honoured methods and local grown ingredients, and is trusted for allergen-friendly innovation.
