What is organic?

Organic production begins on the farm using a system to balance soil nutrients and microbial life. Conservation and recycling of nutrients is a major feature of any organic farming system and enables plants to be supported by a complex soil ecosystem without the use of external inputs such as synthetic pesticides.

Australian Certified Organic is an organic certifying group that audits farms and processors to ensure that National and International Organic Standards are met
